Mr2at asked for plans for the multipurpose workshop stool, so I offer you my plans for a free download!
Multipurpose_Workshop_Stool.zip
There are two files in a ZIP-archive:
- a pdf file with isometric view and a cutting plan
- the sketchup model, if some measuremants are missing or if you want to change or optimize something.
Have fun building this stool!
If you have build it send me a photo.
You can send me your photos to “uwe(at)7fingers.de”
I’m curious of your result!
Bye, 7fingers
Hi,
I wanted to send you a message to say thank you for sharing. I have tried to use your plans to build my own stool and I’m happy with the results! It’s a bit wobbly with my weight (I need to eat less doughnuts!) but I’m really happy with it.
I took photo’s but I cannot find your email address, sorry about that.
Thanks again for sharing you plans.
Kind regards,
Darren
Hey,
thanks for sharing these plans, awesome. I was looking for a stool for my workshop and your design looked perfect so I build it and just finished yesterday. Even with about 100kg, stable design.
I could share some pictures if you add a upload option.
Greetings from south Germany,
Toni

After 6 months of useage…
…still awesome! I use that stool for several hours every weekend, mostly when I work on my scroll saw, but also for grinding, a cool drink in the sun, as support for drilling of jigsawing, and so on. I even think about building a 2nd to use them as sawhorse too.
Thanks again!
Greetings from south germany.
